AquaVac Electronic Tea Towel

by Arieanna on July 22nd, 2008

Paul Oxley, a graduating student of product & furniture design from De Montfort University in the UK, has designed the AquaVac to eliminate the need for kitchen towels. And all the bacteria they spread.

“Every year millions of people get food poisoning and between 100 and 200 people a year die from it. I found that one of the main ways of spreading the bacteria responsible for most cases is through the use of tea towels.

The AquaVac will clean both wet and dry hands, as well as dry your hands and plates. The polymers in the design are impregnated with anti-bacterial substances, and it’s mostly dishwasher safe.
