Are you envious?
"It’s better with the lights on" is the sales pitch for this next product, called Envious. Their pictures are a bit better than my own, but since I love playing with my camera, here are my product shots:
Envious is a frosted glass shot glass that, when tapped on the table, shines up a nice reddish pink. So, it will illuminate your drink pre-shot, or congratulate you for a shot well drunk after you slam it back down.
I plan on making considerable use of this product when we go this summer on a houseboat party trip. People on other boats are going to wonder what this red light is that keeps going on and off during the night.
And this picture, though not so relevant, is my cat taking a sniff at what I was doing. Cats will be curious, after all. Well, I grabbed a shot (bad pun) and this is the result: evil cat. The light shone well enough in her face to make her look like a devil cat. Nice.
If you’re into shot glasses, and drinking games, there is also the Sprintz Shot Drinking Game (via gizmodo) which tells you how fast you were able to down your shot.
