Chef’n Turner

In my attempt to find a perfectly edged flipper, I bought a Calphalon Turner (not shown) that was supposed to be heat resistant and built with Nylon and Silicone. It proceeded to flake off into my food immediately. Disgusting. Worse then the plastic turner I have from a dollar store.
So, in searching out more options, I came across the Chef’n turner, and I’ve had great success with many Chef’n products. I have not yet found a retailer who locally has this product, so if you have it, I’d love your thoughts! I am looking for a more firm turner, but still with silicone for durability and heat resistance - is this the solution?

Check out Oxo’s Large and Small Silicone Turners. They’re actually thin stainless steel turners covered with a layer of silicone steel. Been using mine for over two years and they haven’t melted yet.

Err, I meant a thin layer of stainless steel covered with silicone. Indeed.

Thanks, I think I’ve seen this one out there. I thought it may be too flexible? I’ve been looking for a firm flipper, but may need to give up on that.
