This would have been a handy gadget to take on vacation to Mexico - although then perhaps you wouldn’t have an excuse to drink faster so it would remain cold.

This gadget is called a Cocktail Cabana - it protects your drink of choice from heating up too fast, getting soiled by passing birds, or whatever excuse you’d like to come up with.

They market the product as “SPF 40 for your cold drinks”, featuring a coaster for weight, and a fully functional umbrella shade that can be moved about or collapsed. It’s a pricey toy, $49.99.
