A new coffee maker has hit the stores with some extra techie boost. From Melitta, the Smart Mill & Brew 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker

This coffee maker has real-time weather data, using "smart objects" technology from Microsoft. It uses a wireless data system to display current weather as well as forecasts.

I don’t need the coffee maker, however, to tell me that it is now snowing in Vancouver.
