Heinz Speedy Slice Turbofan Toaster

The Heinz Speedy Slice Turbofan Toaster (prototype) makes your toast in 50 seconds flat. It does so by using a fan to blow air through the traditional toaster heating elements.
Why the need to speed up toast? Well, its designer Oliver Newberry says he was continually frustrated that his beans (hence the Heinz reference) would be cold by the time the toast was done.
I wonder if Mr. Newberry had thought of simply heating up his beans later, so that they and the toast are done at the same time?
