Knife Cover
The LamsonSharp KnifeSafe is a great solution to keeping your knife safe. This is important so that little hands diving into drawers don’t get cut - but it also makes for easy travel.
No, I don’t mean like - this is how you carry the knife to use for illicit purposes. I mean, for those times when you’re out camping or barbecuing on the beach. I don’t know how many times we’ve been out and had to resort to swiss army knives to cut a birthday cake or chop vegetables.
Well, now there is a safe - and affordable - solution. Available here for about $5.
The knife sits in the KnifeSafe on top of two rubber pads. Opposing rubber pads on the other side of the cover holds the knife in place when closed. The KnifeSafe comes in four sizes. The largest is able to hold knives of 10-in. to 8-in. in blade length and the smallest holds 2-1/2 to 4-1/2 inch knives. Because of the placement of rubber pads, it’s important to get the correct size Cooking for Engineers
