Life Laceplate With Drain

The idea behind this elegant piece of art, The Ornamented Life Laceplate with Drain, is simple: use it as a cover for your drain or as a food colander. Either way, it’s a much prettier alternative to the standard drain.
That said, I’m not sure on it’s practicality as a drain cover, as all those grooves and corners just mean more crevices for food germs in the kitchen. I’m really anal about that already.
