Monkey Bread Pan

by Arieanna on March 14th, 2008

I have never had Monkey Bread, but I would like to! This picture from the product page has made me so darn hungry!

Monkey Bread: a rich, yeast-leavened bread formed from balls of dough dipped in melted butter and covered with sweet seasoning like cinnamon and sugar. Stuffed intoa tub pan and baked until golden brown. It’s a pull-and-eat cake! Hence the monkey reference.

Yay for monkey bread!!! My grandmother makes this as part of our Christmas-morning feast and has done so for as long as I can remember. You must try it!!!

My dad always made this for us on holiday’s for breakfast, although he called it Monkey Brains. It is so yummy and super easy to make!

Hmm, Lincoln’s birthday is a monkey birthday. I may just need to make some monkey bread to go with it!

Monkey bread can also be made in a Bundt pan, and turns out just “heavenly”
