Pie Gate
Keep your pie from sliding out of control with the pie gate. The looser the filling, the better this will work (i.e. the happier you will be you have it!). There is nothing worse than cutting the leftover pie and seeing half the filling already spread across the empty areas of the pan. This also helps keep the pie fresh by reducing the filling’s exposure to air.

We are just now finishing off an amazing chocolate pecan pie. Amazing.

Lately pies at stores (paritcularly Mr. Smiths) have come in a reduced size and a smaller diameter. These pie gates are too large to use with these pies of reduced diameter.
