Pinch Salt & Pepper
Pinch - a porcelain salt and pepper set where function meets art. The bottom is filled with salt, easily available for pinching, and the top sphere is a traditional pepper shaker. The pepper shaker acts as a salt cover, when not in use.
Received an honorable mention at the 2007 ‘Chicago Design Now’ exhibition at Design Within Reach.

Not very sanitary…
Even if folks had clean hands the bottom of the pepper shaker sits over the salt after being set on the counter. Suppose it looks cool though.
