Roasting Pan
Yesterday I made my first turkey, and gloried in the joys of a fabulous roasting pan. I received, for my Bridal Shower, from my good friend Leora, an amazing roasting pan. Stainless steel, oval shaped, with a nice domed lid with vents. It had it’s own rack inside. However, I did buy a cheap new rack that had a “v” shape and handles that would enable me to pull out the turkey. It kind of looks like the rack shown above, except the handles on mine are at the other end.
Anyway, my turkey was absolutely perfect. And cleaning was a breeze. 5 hours of roasting fat and I simply sponged it all away.
