Scanpan Sauté Pan

by Arieanna on June 5th, 2006

This post is for Duncan, who pointed it out way back in April before I left for the month of May (I’m back now!).

This is, therefore, a recommended product from Duncan. It’s a saute pan by Scanpan.

It’s made of titanuim, in Switzerland (where I was about a week ago), and comes with a Lifetime warranty. Of course, you pay for this. It’s $189.95, but out of this you get a quality piece that won’t flake out or become horrible to clean.

Now, I will say my personal preference is for solid lids. Glass is great to see things, but does let heat escape. However, in a frying pan that’s less of an issue than with a pot.

Thanks Duncan!
