Silicone Garlic Peeler
I have tried, and liked, the silicone garlic peeler approach. It keeps your hands from getting all garlicy smelling, yet retains the natural approach to removing garlic skins by rolling them.
My garlic peeler was this type (not recommended):
I was not happy with it for long. It started to develop cracks. Not a good silicone. Might have even been plastic, for all I know now. However, this one seems like a good option:
