Spicy Steak Knives
The set of Spicy Steak Knives designed by Carlo Contin are pen-shaped knives with caps. Like a fancy pen, but a knife (careful not to confuse the two!).
The knives come in red, green, gold or silver sheaths.

My personal favorite Steak Knife Sets are the ones from Global. Global knives are firm in the hands and very strong. Shun santoku are ok but I am more comfortable with Global. They are a bit costly but well worth it.
As long as chef knives are cared for properly they are long lasting.
