Stovetop smoker

by Cyndi on February 20th, 2009

Camerons Stovetop Smoker allows you to smoke all types of meats and veggies right on your own stove, and it’s less expensive than many I’ve seen advertised!  It comes with four different wood varieties, and you can also buy additional wood chips from Camerons.

Smoke-cooking is a healthy way to infuse flavor without the use of fats, salts or oils and that means no added calories either! Our smoker allows you to hot-smoke food, a process that retains moisture and natural cooking flavors so foods don’t dry out or get tough. Camerons Smoker also doubles as a steamer, so you really get two great cookers in one product.

Camerons Stovetop Smoker works great with all meat, seafood, and poultry dishes and it transforms ordinary vegetables into delicious main courses! Large items like turkeys or hams can be smoked as well by simply making an aluminum foil tent to cover the item when you cook it, instead of using the smoker lid.

I actually have two of these - one at my house and one at my father’s apt. Great for doing fish as well. You can also keep the heat down and smoke cheese. Great for smaller items - anything large do outdoors on a proper grill or Green Egg.

There are lots of these stovetop models being promoted recently, and this one appeals to me the most…both from apparent ease of use and price! Thanks for the recommendation, exvaxman :-)
