Vegetable Mill

by Arieanna on September 19th, 2006

If you want an easy and inexpensive way to process tomatoes and other veggies, check out this Stainless Steel Tomato/Vegetable Mill from MIU:

For $24.99, you get a 3 blade mill system great for baby purees, soups, sauces and more.

It’s cheaper and easier, and a hell of a lot simpler to clean, than a full sized food processor.

Unless you receive one as a gift, have a bunch of kids tugging on you, and have a dishwasher. Then a food processor is cheaper, easier, and faster!!! Though this mill does look like a cool tool to own! I think I remember Martha making mashed potatoes with one.

I made our baby’s applesauce and this would have been great. I have a chinois, but the mill would have been better. Wish I had seen that.

I think it’s great. When you don’t have much counter space, taking out and cleaning a large processor can be a hassle. This is just convenient.
