Winterberry bread tray
I’m not one of those overly Christmasy decorators this time of year. I like subtle holiday touches, rather than overt snowmen and Christmas trees all over my dishes.
Well, this tray from Pfaltzgraff (Winterberry Appetizer/Bread Tray) is just on the edge of what I would consider tasteful - it is holiday-oriented but not in your face. I’m sure this will appeal to those of you who would easily go overboard and stick that Christmas tree onto your teapot! You know who you are!
This one features a garland of holly and berries - nice, yes? The design is clean, and the tray has the nice details in shape to make it really appealing. Kind of looks like a bow, and I’m sure that’s on purpose.
Caution: though this is a great gift item as a single piece, do not get the whole set. Really bad taste.
