Do you have a favorite gadget in your kitchen?

I’d like to run a regular series of guest posts all about your favorite gadgets. Whether it’s a classic piece or the newest fad gadget, I’d love to feature it. Tell me why you love it - in any way you want. Why it’s functional, a special memory, or even a fun story.

How to participate

You can choose one cooking gadget or many, up to you. Simply send me an email (arieanna@b5media.com) with the text of your gadget review / story. If you want to send in a photo you have taken of the gadget (or of you using the gadget), I can use that.

Otherwise please be descriptive enough in the product name for me to be able to find it online (or send a link to an online retailer).

I will happily share the link love - if you blog or have a website, be sure to include that in your email.

Designer Sean McGreevy has put together this concept for a solar powered bbq called Helios. The grill stores upright to keep a small footprint in your yard. It cantilevers open and locks into place when you need it. The reflective solar dish points away from you when cooking. If the weather isn’t co-operating with you, there’s a plug stored for alternate energy source.

What is it?

The WineRack has a "special boob-enhancing polyurethane bladder" that holds up to 750ml of the alcohol of your choice. It fits inside a special sports-style bra that can increase your cup size by two full cups.

The Stonebake Pizza Oven is a new product for pizza. It features either a stonebake or deep dish option for making your pizza.

How to use: pop in the pizza of your choice - whether fresh, frozen, pre-baked or any combination therein. Adjust the timer, close the lid and that’s it. The viewing panel lets you watch the cheese bubbling. A fresh pizza takes about 10 minutes to bake to a crispy gooey perfection.

The deep dish option opens up this gadget to other food options like omelettes or quiches, making it a versatile cooking gadget!

This little gadget is called a Field Cooker and was designed by Stefano Santilli. It’s a portable cook kit that was originally designed to let the cook prepare & fry wild mushrooms.

How does it work? Simply strap the leather belt around a tree and you have a sturdy work surface. It makes it easier to cook outdoors - no bending over the ground needed!
